Stock Yarn Color Card Selection for Knitwear Buyers
Stock yarn color cards are useful when a buyer wants faster sampling, lower development risk and a clearer first color direction. They are especially helpful for brushed yarn, chenille yarn, tape yarn, tube yarn and space dyed yarn projects where the final surface can change the way a color looks in fabric.
If your design needs a special effect, please send the target fabric photo, Pantone reference or physical swatch. We can compare stock yarn colors first, then discuss custom dyeing or space dyed color repeats when stock yarn is not close enough.
For sample development, buyers often prepare several backup shades from the color card so the knitting factory can adjust quickly after the first swatch.
Request available yarn color cards or send a direct RFQ through our yarn quotation page.
Stock Yarn Color Card and Custom Shade Card Support
For knitwear buyers, a yarn color card is usually the fastest way to check available shades before sample development. If the target color is not in our current stock yarn color card, we can also discuss a custom yarn shade card based on your required yarn type, fiber content, count and color reference.
When requesting a shade card, please send the yarn structure, target count, material preference, knitting gauge, color standard and whether the selection should follow your Pantone number, customer color code, physical fabric swatch or our existing color card.
Yarn RFQ Support
Send a Yarn RFQ with Photos or Specs
For a faster reply, send the yarn type, target NM count, composition, color reference, gauge or end use, and sample or bulk quantity. A yarn photo, fabric swatch or sweater panel photo is also helpful.
- Yarn type: tape yarn, tube yarn, metallic yarn, chenille yarn, brushed yarn, space dyed yarn or custom fancy yarn.
- Technical target: count, material, color route, gauge and hand feel.
- Order stage: stock color card, sample development or bulk production.
Stock Yarn and Color Card Search Notes
Stock yarns, stock yarn color cards and yarn swatches help buyers choose available color directions before custom development. If you need faster sampling, send the stock color number, target count, gauge, material direction and garment use.
Useful next steps: request stock yarn color cards, prepare the yarn specification checklist, or send a stock yarn sample request.
Stock Yarn Traffic Entry for Color Cards and Samples
Stock yarn searches often include color-card and sample intent. Buyers may be comparing available yarn, yarn shade card options, count, composition and delivery timing before they send a formal inquiry. For faster matching, provide the target garment, quantity range, color reference, gauge and sample deadline.
If the buyer needs a yarn shade card, stock yarn color card or transparent nylon yarn color reference, check the stock yarn color card request path first. If the project needs a new development instead of stock, use custom yarn development or send a yarn sample request.
